"Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventurefirst-person shooter video game developed byMachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released on May 20, 2014 for thePlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox Oneand Microsoft Windows. The game is the first entry in the Wolfenstein series since 2009's Wolfenstein."

In other words; Wolfenstein is back! Anyone else hyped to try it out? Or maybe already played it? I am hyped, but mostly because I have spoiled myself through a good (I think) few hours from the beginning by watching a playthrough on it. You can check it out starting here https://youtu.be/2HYmdSOI1PM , if you want. I can't help but love that guy whose playing there :D

Also a more informative video on the title with some game play without spoilers here https://youtu.be/2HYmdSOI1PM

It's a shooter. Where you shoot nazis and their robots. And you can dual wield bloody shotguns.

And even though it's mostly just that, I actually enjoyed some of the bits of the story when we really got to move ahead to a more badass future, and it gave chance for some cool cutscenes too. Cutscenes haven't gotten into the way of the gameplay either, I would say, though my perspective comes from just watching it so far.

So it does get the seal of recommendation from me. Although that only holds for the beginning, up to the moments where we really start to get going. I will continue watching it after holidays and will probably play through it as well - already bought it just for support after a certain bit of the story that I just couldn't help but want to support them for. Plus of course the fact that you can dual wield shotguns and go straight back to stealth killing with knives afterwards.

Welcome back, Wolfenstein.

Super edit: After watching a full playthrough... oooh it was so worth it! To me, this was worth buying full price even though I watched it somewhere else first. Sure, it's not perfect but bloody hell, it's a solid freaking FPS game without bullshit.
